Victor Allen Hetzel was born October 8, 1919, in Dubach, Louisiana and passed from this world on August 15, 2022, in Coleman, Texas.

Victor was the fourth of sixteen children born to Richard and Nettie Hetzel.  He was a Veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict.  Victor was a Real Estate Investor in Kansas, Arkansas and Texas.  He married Margaret Estella Bradley in Kansas City, Missouri on May 6, 1939. Margie and Victor had three 73 years and 9 days of marriage before she passed on May 15, 2013.  They enjoyed their retirement together at Lake Brownwood and Coleman, Texas.  He was a member of the Coleman Downtown Men’s Sunday School and worshipped at First Baptist Church in Coleman, Texas.

Victor and Margie will be interred together in the Texas State Veterans Cemetery, 7457 W. Lake Road, in Abilene, Texas on October 7, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. Services are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman.

He is survived by brothers Jack, Zane, Richard, and sister Evelyn along with several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Coleman Downtown Men’s Sunday School Class, P.O. Box 471, Coleman, Texas 76834 or to the charity of your choice.
