Rhonda Judith “Judy” Yockey, beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2021, at Hendrick Medical Center.  Memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday, June 28, in Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 400 W. Rhonda Judith Adams was born on October 16, 1959 in Shamrock, Texas, a daughter of Robert Joseph Adams and Fredericka Abbott Adams Barbour.  She grew up in Shamrock where she attended school.  In 1985 she married Craig Yockey in Wheeler, Texas.  Following their marriage, they lived in Pinehurst until moving to Coleman in 2005. Craig preceded her in death on April 13, 2018.  Judy was a homemaker and a stay-at-home mom.  She loved and was very involved in the lives of her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family.  If there was someone in need in her family, Judy took care of them.  She enjoyed baking and working word puzzles.  She loved the ocean and never missed a chance to visit the coast.  She was raised in the Methodist Church but after marrying Craig she joined the Baptist Church.  She later attended the Cowboy Church in Coleman.

She is survived by her three sons, Jason Fisher of Pinehurst, Jeremy Yockey of Coleman and Justin Yockey of Pinehurt; her mother, Fredericka Barbour of Quanah; two grandchildren, Ethan Yockey and Savannah Yockey; two sisters, Rene Janette Feddis and husband Michael of Richmond, Kentucky and Kathryn Fay George and husband Sam of Wray, Colorado; numerous nieces and nephews.
