Willa Faye Pauley

Willa Faye Pauley, 83, of Talpa, died Sunday, June 16, 2013 at Coleman County Medical Center. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 400 West Pecan Street, Coleman, with Rev. John Stanislaw officiating. Burial will follow in the Valera Cemetery, under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.

Willa Faye Pauley was born March 16, 1930 in Coleman, the daughter of Charles Wesley Davis and Willie Bryant Davis. She grew up and attended school in Coleman county. She married William Ferman Pauley on July 9, 1948 in Ballinger. Willa Faye sat with the elderly in their home and helped them with their day to day living. She was a wonderful grandmother, loved living out in the country so she could watch all the wildlife and enjoyed the company of her two precious dogs.

Survivors include two daughters, three sisters, six grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ferman, five brothers, two sisters and one daughter, Virginia Boulden.

Family visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at Stevens Funeral Home.

Memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105-1942.
