Vivian Pauline (McDonald) McDonald

Vivian Pauline McDonald of Coleman, left this earth to be with her heavenly father on January 1, 2021 at the age of 84 years and 4 months.  She passed at Holiday Hill Nursing Home.  Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at the Coleman City Cemetery Pavilion with Bro. Don Harmes, pastor of Community Baptist Church, officiating.  Burial will be in the Coleman City Cemetery.  The service will be live-streamed at www.livingmemorials.com/obituary/VivianPauline-McDonald.  Services are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, Coleman.

She was born Vivian Pauline McDonald on August 30, 1936 in Trent to William McDonald, Jr. and Estella May Blankenship McDonald.  At an early age, her family moved to Coleman, where she graduated from Coleman High School and also attended college.  She worked at the furniture store when she got out of school.  She followed in her daddy's footsteps and worked at the ASCS government office in Coleman for over 30 years, until her retirement.

Pauline loved to read books for herself and to her sister, Dorothy, who was blind; she was Dorothy's eyes.  The whole family loved to travel with their camper and little dogs.  They loved the pretty fall scenery and picking up rocks for her rock garden.  She loved to feed her birds; red birds, humming birds any that came to feed.  She loved to have a garden and canned her bounty for the winter.  She always had a beautiful flower garden and loved working outside enjoying the Texas Bluebonnets in their beauty.  She enjoyed life in its beauty as well.  Pauline was a member of Community Baptist Church.

Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, an infant brother, Delbert William McDonald and a sister Dorothy Pearl McDonald.

She is survived by several cousins including Alice Marie Blankenship Youngblood of Green Forest, Arkansas, Verna Blankenship of Berryville, Arkansas and Tommie and wife Marie Blankenship of Gravette, Arkansas.  Also surviving are dear friends that are just like family, Ina Ree and Patty Eubank of Coleman.
