Tina Rene Bordelon, a beloved wife, mother, and homemaker, passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at her residence in Coleman, Texas. Born on February 3, 1971, in Wichita Falls, Texas, Tina grew up in Coleman and graduated from Coleman High School in 1989. Throughout her life, she took great joy in caring for her family, embodying a loving and outgoing personality that endeared her to many.
Tina will be fondly remembered for her profound love of music. She found joy in listening to rock and heavy metal music, often immersing herself in the rhythm and energy it provided. Her passion extended to playing Guitar Hero, where she would challenge herself and have fun with friends and family alike. Additionally, Tina enjoyed arts and crafts, and cherished moments spent fishing, creating memories that will linger in the hearts of those who knew her.
Tina leaves behind her children, Ashlyn Salas, Ashton Rene Salas, Payton Hensley and husband Justin, and Alexa Bordelon, all of Coleman. Her grandchildren, whom she adored, include Jennavecia Carrion, Jazelle Carrion, Justin Ray Baker, Jr., Jaylon Baker, Carson Estes, Landen Fields, Cassia Hensley, Frankie Bordelon, Hallie Hensley, Paislynn West, and Spencer Hensley. Tina is also survived by her mother, Stella Salas of Abilene, and her siblings, Billy Jack Salas, Jr., Sergio Acosta, Jr., Alejandro Salas, Alexandria Salas, and Katrina Salas. Additionally, she will be remembered by her significant other, Miguel Vasquez of Coleman.
Tina was preceded in death by her father, Billy Jack Salas, Sr, and her husband, Raymond Eugene Bordelon.
As we reflect on her life, we celebrate the warmth, love, and joy she brought into the lives of those around her. Her legacy will continue to live on through her family, friends, and the countless memories she leaves behind.
Recital of the Holy Rosary will be Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. followed by a memorial service celebrating her life at 10:00 a.m. at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman. Mr. Chad Anders will officiate the service.
