Terri Conway, 66, of Gouldbusk, Texas, passed away on November 3, 2026, at her home, where she enjoyed the peace and solitude of the land.

Born Theresa Gayle Clevenger on January 16, 1960, in Kermit, Texas, Terri was raised with the values of hard work and dedication that would remain with her throughout her life. She attended school in Jal, New Mexico, where she graduated from high school. For many years, she worked as the cook at the Dairy Mart restaurant in Coleman, a role through which she served her community with steady care and commitment. Outside of work, Terri found comfort in simple companionship and especially enjoyed the company of her dog and cat.

Terri will be remembered with love by her family. She is survived by her daughters, Katlin Stewardson of Coleman, and Lindsey Johnson and husband, DShawn, of Brownwood; her sister, Norma Ditto of Santa Anna and her brother, Darrell Edge of Odessa. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Dylan Rimer of Brownwood, Abigayle Johnson of Brownwood, Samantha Stewardson of Coleman, Wesley Stewardson of Coleman, as well as her nephew, Aaron Clevenger, her nieces, Sarah Ditto and Aubry Clevenger, several great nieces and great nephews, five step-children and their families and her former son-in-law, Tyler Stewardson. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton Wesley and Judith Lyn Cooper Clevenger; her sister, Billie Jean Tune; and her brothers, James Douglas Tipton and Arthur Lee Clevenger.

Terri’s life was marked by devotion to family, faithful work, and an appreciation for the quiet blessings of home. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

At Terri's request, she will be cremated and her family hold a memorial service for her at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 400 West Pecan Street, in Coleman.
