Taryn Daniel Collins-Sanders, beloved son, brother, grandson, and friend, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, in Abilene, Texas, at the young age of 19, as a result of a motorcycle accident. Taryn was born on June 12, 2007, in Abilene, where his journey through life began, surrounded by the love of his family.

Raised in nearby Merkel, Taryn grew up with a bright spirit and an adventurous heart. He graduated from high school in Merkel, leaving lasting memories among classmates, teachers, and friends. Taryn's outgoing and fun-loving personality endeared him to all those fortunate enough to know him. He cared deeply for his family and friends, always eager to bring smiles and laughter into their lives.

Taryn was employed with Rosendin, dedicating his talents to his work at the Abilene AI Data Center. He approached his career with enthusiasm, demonstrating a commitment to learning and growth that earned the respect and admiration of colleagues.

A lover of technology, Taryn enjoyed playing on his Xbox series and PlayStation 5, often sharing these passions with his friends and family. His love of music spanned all genres, reflecting a soul open to new experiences and joyful moments. Riding his bike brought him a sense of freedom and adventure, and his recent travels, including a memorable trip to Colorado, were cherished highlights that he happily recounted to those around him. Taryn also enjoyed riding dirt bikes with his friends.

Taryn is survived by his father, Cody Sanders; his brothers, Donovan Fry and K.J. Crouch; his sister, Trystan Collins; his grandmothers, Stephonie Carmichael and Lisa Sanders; and his grandfather, Barry Tutt; and grandparents, James and Cindy Griffin. Each one held a special place in Taryn's heart, just as he will continue to hold a place in theirs. Taryn is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.

He is preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Jeannie Sanders; his great-grandfather, Bob Sanders; and his great-aunt, Norma O'Connor. Their memories live on in the stories shared and the bonds that remain unbroken.

Taryn's vibrant spirit and enduring kindness have left an indelible impact on all who knew him. He will be remembered for his warmth, humor, and the way he celebrated life. Even in sorrow, those who loved Taryn take solace in the joy he brought to their lives and the legacy he leaves behind.

As his family and community mourn his passing, they extend their gratitude for the support and compassion shown during this difficult time. Taryn Daniels Collins-Sanders will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.

The family will host a visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, August 10, 2026, at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman. Family and friends are invited to a funeral service celebrating his life at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 13, 2026, at North Park Assembly of God, 1918 Jameson Street, in Abilene with Pastor John Sheppard officiating. Interment will follow in the Albany Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home in Coleman.
