Tarressa Jo (Hennington) Baker

Tarressa Jo Baker, 43, of Coleman, died Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at Coleman County Medical Center.  She was born on March 16, 1977 in Eastland, Texas to Thomas Howard “Jerry” Hennington, III and Shirley Jo Hall Hennington Peterson.  She grew up in Eastland where she attended school.  Tarressa enjoyed playing card games, singing and coloring.  She was a very caring and giving person, who would help anyone in need.  Tarressa was a member of the Baptist faith.

Tarressa is survived by her two children, Blakelyn Elvington and husband, Bryan of Abilene, Harley Baker, of San Antonio; her mother, Shirley Peterson of Clyde; her father, Jerry Hennington of Ranger and two sisters, Melody Boyd of Ranger and Rena Cardwell of Oklahoma.  She is also survived by three grandchildren, Rosetta Hennington, Hailey Elvington and Kevin Elvington, all of Abilene and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Rowena Hall and Mattie Cook.

Tarressa requested to be cremated.  Her family is honoring her wishes and will have a private memorial service at a later date.
