Tammie Lynn
Rodriquez

Glen Cove Cemetery
Starts at 10:30 am (Central time)
Tamara “Tammie” Lynn Rodriquez, a devoted wife, mother, and skilled homemaker, passed away peacefully surrounded by her cherished children and grandchildren on Friday, April 10, 2026, in her home in San Angelo, Texas. Born on February 3,1960, in Fort Stockton, Texas, Tammie grew up in Andrews where she attended school and laid the foundation for a life built with love and commitment to her family.
Tammie was known for her ability to make something out of nothing - whether it was a meal from a bare cupboard or turning a house into a loving home. She deeply loved her family and always had her door open to others who needed a place to belong.
A woman of many interests, she enjoyed reading and was an avid fan of mystery television, particularly shows like Law-and-Order SVU and CSI Miami. One of her simple pleasures was savoring a hot cup of coffee in the quiet morning hours.
In 1987, Tammie married Ruben Rodriquez, Jr., in Andrews, a union that built a beautiful family and grew over 34 years before Ruben’s passing.
Tammie is lovingly survived by her children: Chelsea Gillett and husband Ken, Christa Rodriquez and husband Mike Kidwell, Carissa Rodriquez, Christopher Adam Rodriquez, Andrew Rodriquez and wife Melissa, Aiden Garcia, and Ryan Garcia. Her legacy is beautifully carried on by her beloved grandchildren: Kenneth Gillett, Jr., Drake Gillett, Aviah Gillett, Zariah Gillett, Alex Gillett, Willow Gillett, Rayo Gillett, Malachi Gillett, Temperance Rodriquez, August Olivia Rodriquez, Aurelia Norah Rodriquez, Antonio Garcia, and Milani Garcia. She will also be remembered by her siblings, Ray Martin and Gayle Holcomb.
Tammie was preceded in death by her blessed parents, Floyd Martin and Myrtle Christine Martin; her loving husband, Ruben Rodriquez, Jr.; and her sister, Barbara Peña, all of whom she held dear in her heart.
A private graveside service to honor and celebrate Tammie’s life will be held on Monday, April 13, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at Glen Cove Cemetery.
Tammie’s unwavering devotion to her family, coupled with her feisty spirit, leaves a lasting impression on all who had the privilege to know her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
The family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be made to Northridge Baptist Church, 2447 FM 2105, San Angelo, Texas 76901.
We invite you to share fond memories and words of comfort and condolence with the Rodriquez family by signing the guestbook on Tammie’s tribute page at www.stevensfuneralhome.com.
