Liveoak Street, in Coleman with Rev. She was born Shirley Ann Isaacs on October 16, 1954, in Coleman to Theodore James Isaacs, Sr. and Eva Mae Holloway.  Shirley grew up in Coleman and graduated from Coleman High School.  She attended the Overall-Morris School of Nursing where she graduated as a licensed vocational nurse.  Shirley worked at Overall-Morris Hospital and then became the director of nursing at Leisure Lodge Nursing Home.  She was a wonderful nurse and took pride in taking care of people.

Shirley had a loving and giving personality.  She never met a stranger and loved to cook for family and friends.  Shirley had a way of cooking “soul food” that she learned from her stepfather, Richard Holloway, Sr.  She enjoyed feeding her friends and family along with the fellowship that was made.  Shirley’s guilty pleasure was drinking an ice-cold Coca Cola and eating candy.  In her spare time, Shirley enjoyed watching crime shows, western shows, and traveling to Winstar Casino with family and friends.  Most of all, Shirley loved going to Fort Worth and spending time with her daughter and grandchildren.  She cherished every moment with them.  Shirley was a devout member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Coleman where she served as the choir director.

Preceding Shirley in death are her parents, Eva Mae Holloway and Theodore Isaacs, Sr.; one daughter, Martha Allen; one brother, Toddy Isaacs; an uncle dear to her heart, John Wayne Isaacs along with other well-loved aunts and uncles; and her stepfather, Richard Holloway, Sr.

She is survived by her daughter, Krystle Ballard and husband Christopher of Fort Worth; three grandchildren, Christian Ballard, Eva Ballard, and Audrey Ballard; two brothers, Richard Holloway, Jr. and wife Mickey of Abilene and Q.L. Brisby of Houston; and four sisters, Deborah Pilot and husband Lee of Coleman, Angela Holloway of Abilene, Pam Selby of Austin and Geneva Anderson of Austin.
