Sandra Ann Jameson, a beautiful soul whose life was filled with love and compassion, passed away March 29, 2024, in Abilene, Texas with her family by her side. Known for her unwavering dedication to caring for both children and animals, Sandra leaves a legacy of kindness that will forever be cherished by those who knew her.

Born on October 26th, 1951, in San Angelo, Texas, Sandra's nurturing spirit shone brightly throughout her life. She pursued her passion for childcare by running a daycare out of her home for many years, impacting the lives of numerous children with her patience, love, and playfulness. Additionally, Sandra was a devoted member of the Elm Street Church of Christ where she shared her faith through teaching Sunday School and Joy Station Tuesday School.

Sandra's family held a special place in her heart. She found immense joy in spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. Sandra married Danny Jameson on July 27th, 1968, at Elm Street Church of Christ in Coleman. They were together 55 years. Sandra found solace in the company of loved ones and immersed herself in family. Her compassionate nature encompassed animals as well. She was known to rescue and care for various furry friends over the years, and she treated them like family.

Sandra's passing leaves a void in the hearts of many, but her memory will live on through the lives she touched. She was preceded in death by her parents AJ and Betty June Farris, sister Linda Bedell, and brother Dennis Farris. Though she may no longer be physically present, Sandra's legacy of love and selflessness will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Sandra is survived by her loving and supportive husband, Danny Jameson of Coleman; two daughters, Michelle Jameson Gartman and husband Stephen of Coleman and Kim Jameson Allen of May; one son, Scott Jameson and wife Amanda of Wall.  Sandra also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Landon Brown, Boone Allen, Alissa Allen, Dylon Davis, Avery Jameson, and Ainsley Jameson, all who have the honor of serving as pallbearers.

The family will host a visitation from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel.   Family and friends are invited to a funeral service celebrating Sandra’s remarkable life at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with Joe Haley, pastor at Anson Church of Christ, officiating.  Interment will follow in the Coleman City Cemetery.  Services are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 400 W.
