On Tuesday, October 7, 2025, another Angel got her wings to fly!

Rocky lived in Novice, Texas with the love of her life, her husband, Michael Schmidt, enjoying her natural born talent and life-long passion for planting, cooking, and being outdoors.

She loved her children, Misty Woodcock of Coleman, Cathy and Benji Gower of Odessa, and Bill and Wendy Taylor of Mertzon. She adored her grandchildren, Dillion and Andrew of Little Elm, Moria of Celina, Heather of Andrews, Haze and Tiffany of Odessa, Taylor of Gulf Port, Mississippi, and Jayden and Kattle of Mertzon, along with numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren who are left with heavy hearts knowing she was met with love in heaven by her father Alton, sister Relinda, brothers Robby and Roger, sons in law John and Jerry and grandsons, John Jr. and Scotty.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman.
