Phillip Diaz Rosales, Jr

Phillip Diaz Rosales, Jr., 77, of Coleman died Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Coleman County Medical Center. Phillip was born August 4, 1939 in Coleman to Felipe and Manuela Diaz Rosales. He grew up in Coleman, where he attended school. Phillip loved to sing and play his guitar. He was a member of the Primera Iglesia Bautista Church.

Survivors include 10 brother and sisters, Otto Rosales of Coleman, Amelia Aguirre of Abilene, Lydia Sanchez of Coleman, Anita Escobar of San Antonio, Robert Rosales of Coleman, Edward Rosales of Abilene, Jane Castanon of Abilene, Nena Rosales of Coleman, Salatiel Rosales of San Antonio, Ezekiel Rosales of Abilene and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Phillip was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters, Gabriel Rosales, Hiram Rosales, Raul Rosales, Erasmo (Adam) Rosales, Johnny Rosales, Sarah Rosales; two nephews, Joe Rosales and Alfonso Sanchez.

There will be a memorial service celebrating Phillip’s life at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.
