Peggy Jane Graham passed away on August 26, 2026, in Coleman, Texas, surrounded by her family in her home. She was born on July 12, 1958, in Coleman and spent her life rooted in the community she called home.

Peggy attended school in Coleman and built a life centered on caring for others. She worked for many years as a caregiver and nurse aide, offering comfort and help to those who needed her. She also worked in the deli department at Shoppin' Baskit grocery store, where she was known through her daily work and connections with others in the community.

On April 27, 1987, she married Virgil Allen “Red” Graham in Waco. Their marriage was an important part of her life, and together they shared many happy times. Peggy was a member of Wings as Eagles Church in Echo, where her faith was part of the life she lived each day.

She found joy in simple and meaningful pleasures. Peggy enjoyed crocheting, cooking, camping, and fishing. She also loved riding on the back of the motorcycle with Red as they rode with the Goldwing Club. Above all, she loved being around her grandbabies every chance she got, and that love was a defining part of who she was.

Peggy is survived by her husband, Virgil Allen "Red" Graham; her sons, Michael Bagley, Gary Bagley, and David Graham; and her sisters, Linda Salazar, Alice Sanchez, Carolyn Sanchez, and Christine Little. She also leaves behind the many family members and loved ones who will continue to cherish her memory and carry her love with them.

She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Brooks, Jr.; her mother, Alice Wilkins Brooks; her brothers, Rex Brooks and Reggie Brooks; and her sisters, Patsy Hyden and Sara Villapando.

The family is hosting a visitation on August 30, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 400 W Pecan St, Coleman, Texas 76834. Funeral services will be held on August 31, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home with Rev. Kelly Crenshaw officiating.

Peggy will be remembered for her caring spirit, her love for her family, and the happiness she found in time spent with those she loved most. Her memory will remain a blessing to all who knew her.
