Pablo E. Diaz

Pablo E. Diaz, 86, of Coleman died Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Coleman Healthcare Center. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 400 West Pecan Street, Coleman, with Rev. Felies Diaz and Rev. Emilio Diaz officiating. Burial will be in the Coleman City Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.

He was born Pablo Enriquez Diaz, Jr. on May 10, 1930 in Whon to Pablo Diaz and Manuela Enriquez Diaz. He grew up in Coleman and Coleman County and attended school at Shields. He was a very hard worker, whether he was building fence, picking cotton or working on the farm.

Survivors include his brother, Buster Diaz and wife, Aurora, of Coleman and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

Besides his parents, Pablo was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers.

Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2017 at Stevens Funeral Home.
