Neta Ann (Wallace) Dickinson

Neta Dickinson, age 81, of Coleman, died Thursday, March 2, 2023, at Coleman County Medical Center.

Family and friends are invited to a funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman with Leif Scott officiating.  Interment will follow in the Coleman City Cemetery.  Services are entrusted to Stevens funeral Home in Coleman.

She was born Neta Ann Wallace on August 10, 1941, in Brownwood, Texas to Vellon Lee Wallace and Lona Elizabeth Jones Wallace.  Neta grew up in San Angelo and attended school at San Angelo High School.  She married Bobby E. Dickinson on September 21, 1957, in San Angelo.  Neta and Bobby made their home in Houston where Neta worked in the medical records department for Bellaire Hospital for many years.  After retirement, Neta and Bobby moved to Coleman County in 2004.  Neta enjoyed sewing and spending time with family.  She was member of the Baptist faith.  Neta will be missed.

Preceding Neta in death are her parents; and two brothers, Alton Lee Wallace and Jerald Jones Wallace.

She is survived by her husband, Bobby Dickinson; one son, Larry Dickinson; one grandson, Matthew Dickinson; and one sister, Lela Jane Falcon and husband Daniel of Bastrop.

The family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions in memory of Neta be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
