Michael Roy Barkey, age 77, of Aledo, passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2025, in Coleman County. Born in Temple, TX, October 12th, 1948, to Roy and LaVerne Barkey, retired Army veteran. Lived all over between Texas and Germany. Left us unexpectedly doing what he loved on the deer hunt. Survived by his children, Charles Barkey (Heather), Lina Barkey, Christopher Barkey (Kristina), all of Salt Lake County UT, and Anthony Barkey (Caitlin) of Golden CO. 7 grandchildren, his sister Carolyn Horne (Wayne) of St Augustin FL, brother Norman Barkey (Penny) of Killeen, TX and several nieces and nephews and cousins. Interment will be at a later date in Utah with his children.
