Kenneth Casey Herring

Kenneth Herring passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at the age of 84.

 He was born Kenneth Casey Herring on October 2, 1939, to Casey Oliver Herring and Evaline Imogene Cupps Herring. After graduating from Santa Anna High School, Kenneth married Freddie Marie Geer. They had four children while residing in Santa Anna. They moved to Odessa, Texas around 1965, where Kenneth began a long career in the oil industry. Kenneth enjoyed farming and fishing and continued to help on his parent’s farm on weekends.

 He is survived by his children, Kemarie Grewell, Johna Tschauner and husband Vance, Elizabeth Gillit and husband Alton, and Max Herring and wife Kathy; ten grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and his siblings Pam Morgan and husband David and Dale Herring and wife Carol.

 Family and friends are invited to a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2024, at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman.
