IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kelly Martin
Kincaid
January 29, 1959 – November 1, 2025
Kelly Martin Kincaid, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at his residence in Novice, Texas, surrounded by his loving family. Born on January 29, 1959, in Olympia, Washington, he grew up all over the United States, attending school in Novice, where he forged friendships that would last a lifetime.
Kelly was a diesel mechanic for many years, having gained invaluable experience while working in the oil fields on drilling rigs. He dedicated over 20 years of his career to Crown Cork and Seal in Abilene, as well as working with Lund International. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Kelly proudly served with the United States Navy from 1976 to 1982, an experience that shaped his character and work ethic.
Throughout his life, Kelly was deeply admired for his commitment to his family and friends. He married his childhood sweetheart, Jane Flores, on May 10, 1976, in Santa Anna, an event that marked the beginning of a beautiful journey filled with love and companionship. Together, they raised a loving family that includes their children: Tonya Kincaid and Jeff Berry of Phoenix, Arizona, Grace Kincaid of Tuscola, Wynona "Bitty" Kincaid of Novice, and Kelly Kincaid and Charlie Dillard of Winters. Kelly’s love and adoration for his grandchildren—Kurt, Samantha, Taylor, Corbin, Robert, Amani, Ethan, Gracie, Farryn, Carmella, and Tatum—as well as his six great-grandchildren, were evident in all that he did.
Kelly’s warm personality and zest for life shone through in his many hobbies and interests. He had a deep passion for fishing and relished every opportunity to spend quality time with his family. Recently, he took on the joyful challenge of restoring a 1966 Ford Mustang Classic, a project that brought him great satisfaction. Kelly was also known for his love of riding motorcycles, which provided him the freedom to explore the open road and enjoy the great outdoors.
He is remembered fondly by his siblings: Sidney Kincaid of Coleman, Robert Kincaid and wife Pam of Weatherford, Pamela Dansby and husband Brett of New Braunfels, Toni Royce of Kentucky, and Tammy Royce of Texas. Kelly is also survived by his sister-in-law, Margie Flores of Novice, along with his niece and nephew, Preston and Pam Kincaid of Coleman. He leaves behind a legacy of close friendships, including Jana V., Shay S., Mikey R., Shawn B., Oscar and Fritzi Smith, and Rick and Teresa Spikes.
Kelly is preceded in death by his parents, Albert Sidney Kincaid and Maxine Trusty Kincaid, and one brother, Larry Kincaid. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him, and he will be missed dearly by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A memorial service celebrating his remarkable life will be held at a later time. Arrangements and cremation are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman.
We invite you to share fond memories and words of comfort and condolence with the Kincaid family by signing the guestbook on Kelly’s tribute page at www.stevensfuneralhome.com. Stevens Funeral Home is honored to serve the Kincaid family.
