Judy Ann Massey

Judy Massey, age 60, of Coleman, died Monday, December 7, 2020 at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.

She was born Judy Ann Massey on March 8, 1960 in Brownwood to Billy Jack Massey and Mary Leo Bowers Massey.  Judy grew up in Coleman and graduated from Coleman High School.  She loved camping, sewing, and cooking.  Judy was a member of the Tough Guy’s Ministry and Emmanuel Baptist Church in Coleman.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her granddaughter, Haylie Strength; her brothers, Samuel Massey and Tommy Massey; and her sister, Nancy Massey.

Judy is survived by her daughters, Sammie June Strength and husband Lewis of Clyde, Jessica Martinez of Coleman; her grandchildren, Trey Martinez, Zane Rosales, Marie Rosales, Chieane Walters, Paul Rosales, Kendall Strength, and Shawn McWhorter; and her sisters, Cordelia Massey Montgomery and Polly Massey Frazier.

The family will host a private family memorial service at a later date.
