Judy de los Santos Baker

Judy de los Santos Baker, age 64, died Tuesday, July 3, 2018, in Brown County.  Memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 21, in Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with Father Russ Fisher officiating and assisted by Rev. David Allison.  There will be a visitation with the family following the service in the chapel.

Judy was born on May 1, 1954 in Melvin to Raul de los Santos and Francisca Martinez de los Santos.  In 1957, the family moved to Leaday.  Judy was enrolled in the first grade at Mozelle School where she graduated in 1974.  Judy was raised a Catholic, made her first communion and later her confirmation at Our Lady of Guadalupe Mission in Millersview, Texas.  In the summer time she attended Vacation Bible School at Leaday.

After her marriage to Gary Danny Baker, they moved to Killeen where he served in the United States Army.  They later moved to Brownwood where they have lived since that time.  Judy was employed with Wal-Mart, Party Factory, and Big Lots.

Survivors include her husband, Danny, sons, Christopher Bryan Baker and Scotty Wayne Baker all of Brownwood; a daughter, Angel Baker of Coleman; grandchildren, Chris Baker of Coleman, Conner Baker of Coleman, Kalissa Baker of Brownwood and Fedder Baker of Brownwood; brothers, Raul de los Santos (Junior) of Voss and Jerry de los Santos of Coleman; sister, Olivia de los Santos of Voss; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raul and Frances.
