Juanita Ann Jackson

Juanita Ann Jackson, age 93, of Granbury, died Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at her residence. A private interment will be in the Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene. Services are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman.

She was born Juanita Ann Abbott on January 16, 1931, in Greenville, Texas to Roy Columbus Abbott and Minnie Law Jenkins Abbott. Juanita grew up in Greenville and graduated from Greenville High School. She married Jesse James Jackson on September 4, 1948, in Dallas. Juanita and Jesse Moved to Coleman in 1967. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Coleman, Beta Sigma Phi, and the Order of the Eastern Star.

Juanita is survived by three children and multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
