Jimmy Dale Roe

October 1, 1934 — April 3, 2024

Wichita Falls

Jimmy Dale Roe, a beloved member of the Wichita Falls community, passed away peacefully in Coleman, Texas. Jimmy's life was marked by dedication, love, and simplicity that endeared him to all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Born in Wichita Falls, Jimmy's life journey led him to become a respected accountant for McAllister Trucking Company and later for the Presbyterian Church in his hometown. His meticulous nature and commitment to his work left a lasting impact on those he served over the years. Jimmy was also a dedicated member of the Shriners Association.

Described as a quiet and simple man, Jimmy's deepest joy stemmed from his family. He will be most remembered for how deeply he loved his wife, Patricia Gail Roe.   She was his whole world. The sun rose and set over her for him. He made sure she wanted for nothing and even if she did not want it, she got it.  Jimmy is also survived by his daughter, Tricia Kimmel and husband Justin of Coleman; one son, Sheldon Waynick of Abilene; and two grandchildren, Bailey Kimmel and Austin Kimmel of Coleman.

Although Jimmy has departed from this world, his memory will be forever treasured by those he leaves behind. He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Kimberley Roe, and all his siblings. In honoring his life, let us remember the quiet strength, deep love for family, and unwavering commitment that defined Jimmy Dale Roe.

The family requests with gratitude the memorial contributions in memory of Jimmy be made to the Abilene State Supportive Living Center, 2901 Maple Street, Abilene, Texas 79602.
