Jan (Poldrack) McElrath

Jan Poldrack McElrath, age 67, of Coleman, died Tuesday, April 23, 2019, at Coleman Healthcare Center.  Visitation will be held Thursday, April 25,  beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, 400 W. Pecan Street, Coleman, with the service at 11:00 a.m. at the Coleman City Cemetery Pavilion.   Interment will follow in the Coleman City Cemetery under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.

She was born Pamela Jan Poldrack on November 25, 1951, in Coleman, to Arthur Poldrack, Sr. and Avis Nadene Thompson Poldrack.  She grew up in Coleman where she attended school and graduated in the Class of 1970.   On October 2, 1971 she married Vic McElrath in Coleman and he preceded her in death on February 19, 1988.  She retired from the Coleman County Tax Appraisal District.

She is survived by three children, Kim McElrath of Brownwood, Melissa McElrath of Santa Anna and Jonathan McElrath of Coleman; one grandson, Jacob Diaz of Santa Anna;  three brothers, Nick Poldrack,  Arthur Poldrack, Jr. and Steve Poldrack; five sisters, Betsy Davis, Bitsy Felts, Fredia Hart, Nan Moses and Treva Watson; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vic McElrath; and her parents, Arthur and Avis Poldrack.
