James Wayne Stovall, a devoted father, loving friend, and hardworking provider, peacefully passed away on September 1, 2023, at the age of 82. Born on December 15, 1940, in Plainview, Texas, Wayne lived a life guided by strong values, commitment, and unwavering dedication to his family.

Wayne was a man of simple pleasures and profound kindness. He found joy in the beauty of everyday moments and approached life with a warm and generous heart. A loving father to his two sons, Daniel Stovall and Joseph Stovall, Wayne was a constant source of support, encouragement, and unwavering love. His legacy of love will forever be cherished by his children.

Professionally, Wayne established a successful career in the helicopter and plane parts industry as a skilled machinist and truck driver. With his remarkable work ethic and attention to detail, he made a significant impact on the field. James took great pride in his craftsmanship and the relationships he built with colleagues and clients throughout the years.

Outside of work, Wayne found immense pleasure in spending time with his children and grandchildren.  He was a proud graduate of Abilene High School and married the love of his life, Judith “Lou” Redding on September 30, 1967, in Breckenridge, Texas.  Lou died on August 24, 2023, and now their love is reunited in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Wayne will be remembered by his children, Kelly Kassandra Broker and husband Kenny, Joseph Stovall and wife Chelli of Breckenridge and Daniel Stovall and wife Kim of Sweetwater.  He adored his grandchildren, Bethany McGee and husband Brycen, Andrew Stovall and wife Hannah, and Abby Stovall; and his great-grandchildren, Kaid, Brayden, Harper, Carson, and Madi Lou. Wayne will also be remembered by his sister, Barbara Nell Stovall.
