Jack Parks

Jack Parks, 80, of Coleman, died Friday, January 13, 2017 at his residence. Jack was born March 29, 1936 in Francis, Oklahoma to Elmer Parks and Lillie Mae Williams Parks. Jack grew up in Texas, where he attended school. He served in the United States Army as cook. Jack was a "jack of all trades" and did a lot of mechanic work. He could do anything. He loved traveling, fishing and four wheeling.

Survivors include three children, Rocky Parks of Minco, Oklahoma, Jackie Diaz of Tuttle, Oklahoma, Connie Allen of Orange Grove; one brother, Truman Parks of Hasse; one sister, Regina Barnett of Coleman; four grandchildren, Jamie Oaks, Brandon Allen, Christy Graves, Jeffery Diaz and numerous great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters.

It is Jack's wish to be cremated and not have a memorial service. His family is honoring his wish. Arrangements are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home, 400 West Pecan Street, Coleman.
