Henry Maurice Williams

Henry Williams, 84, of Coleman, and former resident of Odessa, died Thursday, May 9, 2013 at Holiday Hill Nursing Home in Coleman. Graveside services will be 4:00 p.m. Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Sunset Memorial Gardens and Cemetery in Odessa. Arrangements are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home in Coleman.

Henry Maurice Williams was born January 27, 1929 in Olney, Texas, the son of Fred Williams and Lillie Belle Waldrop Williams. Henry served in the United States Marine Corps. On August 20, 1954, he married Mary Louise Smith in Eunice, New Mexico. He worked in the oil field in the Midland and Odessa area, New Mexico and Louisiana. After Mary died, Henry moved to Coleman.

Survivors include two sons, Freddy L. Williams of Odessa, Gregory M. Williams and wife, Annie, of Rockwood, five grandchildren, D.D. Williams and wife, Kristi, of Big Spring, L.T. Williams and wife, Lauren, of Andrews, Colleen Grant of Odessa, Annaette Bowers and husband, Kavin, of DeRidder, Louisiana, Jon Bopp of Rockwood and 11 great grandchildren.

The family of Henry Williams would like to thank the staff of Holiday Hill Nursing Home for the wonderful care given to Henry while he was resident there for the past several years.
