Dorothy Mae Mack

Mrs. Dorothy Mae Mack, age 89, of Coleman, passed from this life on Sunday, December 3, 2017, at Coleman Healthcare Center. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 8, in the Coleman Cemetery Pavilion. Interment will follow in the Coleman Cemetery under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Thursday at Stevens Funeral Home, 400 W. Pecan Street, Coleman, Texas.

Dorothy Mae Mack was born on February 14, 1928, in Coleman, a daughter of George and Malinda Bailey Johnson. She grew up in Coleman and graduated from Humphrey High School. Dorothy was a homemaker and also did housekeeping for other people. Many years ago, she attended the True Vine Baptist Church in Coleman.

She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Stewart of Abilene; a son, Billy George Mack of Coleman; one granddaughter, Ebony Mack; four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Thelma Lee Goode and a brother, Don L. Johnson.
