Devin Todd Griffin, born on September 16, 1993, in Mineral Wells, Texas, passed away tragically in an automobile accident on Thursday, June 5, 2025, in Waco, Texas. He was a cherished son, loving brother, and treasured uncle, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many.
Devin grew up in Coleman County and attended Panther Creek, where he developed lasting friendships and a deep connection to his community. His career brought him to Moss Solar in Clifton, Texas, where he contributed with dedication and enthusiasm.
Devin was known for his fun and loving spirit. He shared countless joyous moments with his brothers on the lake, canoeing, and reveling in the beauty of nature. He had a passion for dancing and often delighted those around him with his singing, creating joyful memories that will live on in the hearts of those fortunate enough to witness them. A devoted uncle, Devin had a special bond with his nieces and nephews—Savina, Kooper, Isaiah, Seth, Kori, Gabby, Ryan, and Elijah—showering them with love and gifts, and ensuring they felt cherished.
He had an incredible ability to bring out the best in people, and his love for family and friends knew no bounds. When he loved, he did so wholeheartedly, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere wherever he went.
Devin is survived by his father, Bryan Griffin; his mother, Kristi Kuykendall; and his ex-stepfather, Wayne Kuykendall. He leaves behind his two beloved brothers, Ethan Griffin and Damon Griffin, along with Damon’s wife, Maricela. He is also survived by his aunt, Marcy Griffin, and his great-uncles, Kent McMillan and wife Stephanie, Greg McMillan and wife Ella Mae, and Bret McMillan, and one great-aunt, Fran Spradlin Devin also leaves behind his girlfriend, Marissa Jimenez and his two four-legged best friends, Hoss and Leo.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Leon and Billie Griffin, and Pam Maples, who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation at 1:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 3:00 p.m. Friday, June 13, 2025, at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman. Rev. Seth Moore, pastor at Hords Creek Cowboy Church, will officiate. Interment will follow in the Brown Ranch Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home in Coleman.
Devin Todd Griffin will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his love and the memories created will forever remain in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
