Claude Ray (C. R.) Jones

Claude Ray (C.R.) Jones, age 58, died Monday, October 8, 2018, in Fort Stockton, Texas.  He was born March 28, 1960 in Coleman, Texas, a son of Robert Eugene Jones and Floraetta Martin Jones.  He grew up in Coleman County and attended school at Talpa.  As a child, he attended Valera Baptist Church.  C.R. lived in Coleman before moving to Colorado and later moving to Arizona.  About nine months ago, he moved to Fort Stockton where he was employed as a maintenance technician at an RV park.

He is survived by his mother, Floraetta Jones of Coleman; four children, LeAnna Pachall and husband Chad of Brownwood, C.R. Jones II of Coleman, Justin Jones of Talpa and Beth Jones of Santa Anna; three siblings, Nora Sheffield of Coleman, Bob Jones of Odessa and Lynn Jones of Glen Cove; seven grandchildren, Bailey Holloway of Coleman, Brooklyn Jones of Santa Anna, Peyton Jones of Coleman, Kristin Jones of Santa Anna, Wyatt Jackson of Brownwood, Jason Jones of Santa Anna and Addisyn Jones of Coleman.

C.R.’s wishes were that his body be cremated and his family is honoring that request.  They will have a gathering at a later date to celebrate his life.
