Cecil Clifton Leatherman

Cecil Clifton Leatherman, 69, of Coleman died Friday, June 1, 2018 at Coleman County Medical Center.  Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 3, 2018 at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Posey officiating.  Burial will be in the Brown Ranch Cemetery.  Services are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.

Cecil Clifton Leatherman was born April 28, 1949 in Houston to Claude Clayton Leatherman and Maudie Neal Dodd Leatherman.  He grew up in Houston and attended school there.  In 1989, he moved to Coleman.  He loved collecting and watching movies.

Survivors include three sisters, Fay Brinegar of Crosby, Gayle Dyer and husband, Richard, of Crosby, Mary Russell and husband, David, of Lampasas; one brother, John Leatherman Dodd of Arizona and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
