Brenda Lea (Burnett) Crossno

Brenda Crossno, age 64, of Coleman, died Sunday, August 27, 2023, at Brownwood Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Family and friends are invited to a graveside funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 31, 2023, at the Cross Cut Cemetery Pavilion.  There will be no formal visitation.  Services are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman.

She was born Benda Lea Burnett on December 4, 1958, in San Jose, California to Arvill Burnett and Francis Louis Taylor Burnett.  She grew up in California and attended Live Oak High School in Morgan Hill, California.  Brenda moved to Coleman from California in 1972.  She worked at the Trade Winds Restaurant as a waitress and worked at the T-Bone Ranch.  She will be missed.

Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, Arvill and Francis Burnett; one brother, Lynn Burnett; and one sister, Kay McGee.

She is survived by her special friend, Gaylon Picket of Coleman, and many nieces and nephews.
