Bob Anthony

Bob Anthony, age 75, of Abilene, died Friday, April 27, 2012, in Abilene.  A private family service will be held.

He was born December 1, 1942 in Coleman, Texas, the son of Vergel and Irene Anthony. He grew up in Coleman and graduated from Coleman High School. He worked in Coleman at Taylor Motor Company for a few years before moving to Abilene in 1964 where he worked for Chrysler and Arrow Ford in the Parts Department. On February 22, 1964 he married Shirley Farris in Coleman. He was a Baptist and served in the Army National Guard.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Anthony of Abilene; daughter, Sabrina Kirk and husband Rusty of Abilene; grandson, Cody Ray Kirk (wife Paige) and their son Casten of Abilene.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Taylor Drew Kirk; his sister and brother-in-law, Eddie Marie and Fred Henson; nephew, Jerry Bob Hen

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Arrangements were made by Stevens Funeral Home, Coleman.
